What is this?

This is a tool to randomly draw figure groups for Artistic Swimming meets. It provides a way of creating draws that are not valid until a certain time, but the link to the draw can be shared in advance of the draw time.

How does it work?

For a given date and time, a random pulse from the NIST randomness beacon is read and used to seed random number generator. The random number generator picks one of the figure groups. For times in the future, there will not be a random pulse to seed the random number generator, so an error will be returned.
